Mint (truly) pair of Bryston Mini T standmount loudspeakers in black ash wood (not vinyl) finish. They've had only enough use to be broken in. These were originally owned by Frank Sinatra, Jr., the bandleader and son of Frank Sinatra. He purchased these from a Bryston dealer for his bedroom in November 2015, went on tour in January, and died unexpectedly from a heart attack in early March 2016. They became part of his estate, and I bought them from the Preston & Co. auction house (the same group often featured on "Antiques Roadshow") at the estate sale in December of 2017. I have the provenance letter from Preston & Co. certifying they belonged to Sinatra and will include it with the sale. These are the best sounding, most versatile of the Bryston speakers, and have received only positive reviews. They have an exceptional purity of tone, excellent balance, top to bottom, are highly resolving without being analytical, and deliver tremendous dynamics (112 dB @ 1m). Depending on your listening position, they need stands between 20 - 24 inches in height (stands are not included). I had hoped to use these in my bedroom (12 ft. W X 12 ft. L, X 10 ft. H) but I had to place them within 12 inches from the front wall, and they were just too much speaker for the room. Mr. Sinatra's bedroom was clearly bigger than mine. When I moved them into my main listening room (16 ft X 14 ft X 10 ft) to see how they sounded, they were sonically outstanding. They may be standmounts but they produce a quantity and quality of sound better than many floor standers. I already have four sets of much more expensive full-range floor standers that I rotate in and out of my listening space, so I really don't need these. I played them for about three weeks, then boxed them up when I moved to my new house (they had received so little use by Sinatra that the air coming from the back port still had that "new" smell of the components). These are as close to new as you'll get without purchasing from a dealer. These will be shipped in individual cartons (double boxed: the original Bryston boxes plus additional larger boxes for protection), and includes the instruction manual, copper/brass plate jumpers for the two pairs of binding posts (these are bi-wirable), removable speaker feet, an additional set of screw-in cone speaker feet (for de-coupling from the stand), and the auction house letter of provenance. My price of $1750 (plus the 3% Paypal fee--I'll pay shipping) for the pair is less than what you would pay for one speaker from Audio Advisor. Note that the shipping indicator is for one speaker only, the two run 100 pounds. I will accept a Postal Money Order that would save you the Paypal fee. If you are within a two-hour drive of the Lexington, KY, area, I'll deliver them to you for free (boxes included). The speakers look like they just came out of the box. I can't find a mark on them and score them a 9 only because I am the second owner. You'll really like them.
