I have a pair of rare Altec 605a's along with a pair of Altec crossovers. Note, the crossovers are not identical and it looks like the previous owner may have modified them as some wires are cut (see pics). However, they work great and I did not even know until I took them out of the cabinets that they were different. I was also told by previous owner these were shipped to Great Plains Audio for refreshing when he got them. Speakers sounds great with no issues. This is a matching pair. Some small scratches on back but very minor considering age. Can send more pics upon request. No tears/holes in cone.Also included are open baffle cabinets similar to JE labs design that are included. These were CNC cut at a wood shop. In good shape and has some normal wear. Due to size I prefer local buyer. I am located in Santa Clara, CA which is 40 minutes south of San Francisco. If you must have them, I can ship but without the wooden baffles. I don't sell often, but my audiogon account is Brabus420 and I have perfect feedback.
