Vandersteen model 5 speakers in black finish. These speakers sound fantastic with all types of music. With built in sub-woofers handling the lowest frequencies, the speakers are easy to drive with most any power amplifier. The soundstage is wide and deep, open and airy. Music floats in your room in a 3D arrangement. There is excellent separation of vocals and instruments providing clarity, tone, and realism. Piano, strings and woodwind instruments sound fantastic. Bass goes deep with impact, tone, and definition that is in your room. Overall a most enjoyable presentation that you can enjoy for hours. There are many adjustments that make setting-up these speakers to integrate in any room simple. Cross-over batteries were replaced a few years ago. Included are the M5-HP filters with RCA termination. It will be hard to find a speaker that does so much in this price range.
