You rarely find early Merlin tower speakers on the market anywhere due to what it would cost to replace this wonderful sound.These model 1+1s are no exception.Been in the family for over 20yrs but not played much in the last 16.Two way system using (2)6.5" Vifa woofers with rubber surrounds and Elac tweeter in between creating disappearing point source.If you want heavy low bass,these aren't it.Go about as low as an electric bass guitar but you can always use a sub if you need lower.I had to scrape off the exterior foam from the heavily braced,sand loaded,epoxy pulp cabinets due to crumbling.We made new socks for them out of black stretch material.Spot you see on right speaker cloth is from camera.Edison copper terminal posts,consec serial #s.Well taken care of.Efficiency 89db;response 45-25Khz;4ohm,approx 10x10x57",90lbs.Have tech/spec sheet,tip toes and shipping boxes.Boxes are 63"x16"x16" and 110lbs ea.They are boxed and ready for pick up by Fed Ex or ? from zip 13790.Possible trade for tube preamp.
