The Abscisse has the JMR sound of sparkling highs, smooth midrange, and defined bass. These work well in a smaller room. In a larger room they may suit the individual better when used with a subwoofer. A stout amplifier (not necessarily high wattage, but rather high current) is recommended for best results. We’ve use a 50WPC E.A.R. 534 here to great effect.
