The cables are completed isolated by being FOUR separate runs of wire: 2 red color runs for positive and 2 blue color runs for negative. Each cable is 20 feet in length and is spade-terminated. This is a legendary cable for those who were lucky enough to hear these cables and know this brand... This is one of the original versions, before it got dressed up in a fancy cable and sold for 2 or 3 times the original retail. Various versions being sold now online for as much as $800.00 used price for essentially the same cable See link below, where you can see someone on eBay selling for $795.00 for a 15 ft. pair (of version with fancier jacket, but same design) Originally retailed for $1,060.00 Offered for only $400.00 for my super duper 20 ft length pair! Lowered to $250.00....just had buyer in Thailand back out after agreeing to purchase, so lowered price for fast sale. This pair came direct from Audio Directions in Honolulu, courtesy of the late great Uncle Stu, Stewart Ono. Stu was a long-time dealer and fan of Sonoran Cables. I personally purchased and enjoyed many cables from this brand; several of their Interconnects and also speaker cables. These were for a system that never materialized, and they have been just gathering dust in the closet for some years now. Time to offer them to someone who will put them to good use. Great transmitter of current, so if you have a high powered amp, or even a low one, these super thick, super stiff monster cables should help drive your speakers beautifully. Very thick, not for the faint of heart! I found them to offer the following sonic characteristics:
Very detailed but smooth and natural sounding (not harsh like many silver clad or silver over copper cables do in my experience)
Very deep bottom end
