For sale is a pair of Nordost Purple Flare speaker cables that are four (4) meters in length, or roughly 12 feet. I got these from a Nordost dealer who was selling off his demo cables so these have the green heatshrink on one end. Other than that they are identical to what you would get from Nordost retailer.These are very good cables! They are fast, deliver the music in a clear and involving manner. Gone is the brightness that was the reputation of the early Nordost cables. "Google" Purple Flare speaker cables and see the review from TAS, by Neil Gardner. He proclaimed it to be pretty darn close to the Nordost Blue Heaven cables. Well, I listened to the Blue Heaven and compared it to the Purple Flare and I cannot discern any differences that would make me spend more for the Blue Heaven. I had to move up to the Red Dawn speaker cable for a lot more money. Hence the move to the Red Dawn is the reason for the sale of these cables. I have rated these an "8" just to be safe but frankly they are a "9". These are about six months old and have not seen much use as of late due to the purchase of the Red Dawn cable. To be fair to the bride I have promised to clean up some of the excess items in the house so these are going. I will ship for a flat $10 anywhere in the continental USA; shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail. Be advised I ship expensive items with a signature required due to some unpleasant transactions from the past. I will ship to Canada but the tariffs, taxes and all are your responsibility and I will not declare the value at something other than what it cost the buyer. No fees for PayPal.
