***LOCAL SALES ONLY, SORRY*Fully working, very good condition, original sweet-sounding Sanken output transistors, big power This receiver has had limited use since it was new in 1978. It was originally purchased new in 1978 by my father's good friend who had it shipped from overseas - it was given to my father in the early 80s when his friend was upgrading, and saw very limited use until 2006 when I discovered it in the back of a closet. Since then it has been used occasionally as the main power for my small bedroom system connected to an external soundcard from my laptop. When I found out what I had, I took steps to preserve the unit so it would last for many years to come. All switches were cleaned professionally by saveonsound in Houston with the proper DeOxit F5, and then lubed with FaderLube F100. A few capacitors were replaced in the voltage regulator and output circuit, which I have receipts for. It has been years since the original maintenance so there is a little bit of scratchiness in the controls developing (mostly volume and tone defeat) again, probably due for another cleaning. Cosmetically the unit is 8/10. There are some light scuffs on the top of the faceplate, and one 2mm nick on the top left face of the faceplate. All functions work, the tuner is amazing and can pull in stations from far away.
