This is a Marantz 4300 stereo-quad receiver. The Marantz 4300 is complete with all original knobs, controls etc. The 4300 is in nice condition. There are a few bumps, bruises, but still very presentable. The all metal wood grain look is original, and fits well. Some wear, but no corner crunches or dents. The 4300 has had all controls and pots cleaned and lubed. No noisy dirty controls. The 4300 has had a few dial lamps replaced, not l.e.d.'s but still that classic blue Marantz look! The 4300 is rated at 100 watts a channel at 8ohms into stereo mode, and 40 watts a channel into 8 ohms quad mode. The 4300 has the rare SQA-1 logic module. These logic modules are what get the SQ decoder(quad) modes. This module is for the quad turntable, reel to reel and gives the 4300 it's defection of quad. The unit slides into the bottom. No need to remove the top. The 4300 has all four of it's pre-out jumpers, and can power four front speakers and four rear speakers. The 4300 has many inputs both front and rear. The 4300 tuner works well. The stations come in very good. This 4300 has a few bumps but, heh, you got a 100 watts stereo and 40 watts quad in a very nice working and rare Marantz quad receiver! Also with the added on SQA-1 adapter this one make the quad days come alive! The SQA-1 adapters are going upwards of $200.00 on auction sites. I can demo the 4300 before you decide. I do NOT have a quad reel to reel, or a turntable. But I can demo the unit.Shipping is available to lower 48 only. This one is heavy! Sooo cost maybe be upwards of $125.00.
