Sonic Euphoria PLC Balanced version. The reviews of this amp by Stereophile, Dagogo, and Stereo Times speak volumes about the quality of this unit. "Balanced, dynamic, quiet, stylish and seemless with the highest quality of systems" are the notable comments by very reputable reviewers. Each Sonic Euphoria preamp was handwired by Jeff Hagler. Look at the picture below and you'll be astounded by the detailed work. This passive preamp is completely passive...no power cord except for the remote control box, which is an option to use. I preferred to just get out of my seat. Description: Autotransformer-based passive line stage. Inputs: 4 unbalanced line (RCA). Finish: Silver Price: $1995 balanced. Remote control, $250; WBT RCA upgrade, $40/pair; additional inputs/outputs, $40/pair. Sonic Euphoria is no longer in business, but Dan Muzquiz (co-designer and Sonic Euphoria partner with Jeff Hagler) still operates Blackbird Audio (Santee,CA 619-449-2787). He's very willing and available to discuss the Sonic Euphoria PLC attributes and history. This unit is in pristine condition, it's hard to believe it's 12 years old. I have a perfect rating on USAUDIOMART.COM (sydandjoe)
