Hundreds have been sold and you never see them for sale! (The Furutech plugs retail at $600 alone!) Just a fantastic cord that for the money you would have to spend 3 times the price to get quality and sonics. We strongly suggest you buy this power cord that has been prepared and made in Japan and not do a DIY project yourself. Doing a DIY power cord although easy can be problematic down the road and to save a few dollars is not worth it in our opinion. We had one customer compare his DIY Nanotec cord to the one made in Japan and he said the one from Japan was superior in sound!
