The SG-220 has been replaced by the SG-230. The SG-220 is basically the current SG0-210 plus a line level input and a remote. It as both fixed and variable outputs.This unit has just come back from being totally rebuilt by Soundsmith. The stock RCA plugs are circuit-board mounted. On this unit they have been changed by Soundsmith to chassis mounted plugs so that you can use cables that have tighter or heavier RCA connectors. The cartridge is the most current model with a new SGS-5 Ruby Cantilever Styli. I have had both the SGS-6 and SGS-5 styli; I much prefer the 5, it is 90% as detailed and has better harmonics and is slightly more forgiving of less than perfect LPs. The current price of the SG-210 is $9,995.95 and that's without a line input or a remote. The current price of the SG-230 is $12,999.95. This is as close to new as it can be.
