For your consideration is a Shure V15 III HE cartridge on an Technics SL-1200 headshell. The Shure V15 III HE is the same cartridge as the earlier Shure V15 III, but was released with the improved hyperelliptical stylus (not included-long ago worn out) after that stylus had first appeared on the V15 IV cartridge in 1978.This cartridge comes with two styli. One very lightly used Jico SAS VN35HE and an equally lightly used EVG elliptical. The SAS was purchased in March of last year when I heard that the SAS was being discontinued. I carefully aligned it and ran the SAS for 2 LPs to check suspension and sound just in case I had to make a return. Everything was great and I cleaned the stylus and put it back in the box. From my research, the new NeoSAS replacement is brighter because the new sapphire cantilever has greater mass compared to the boron used in this original model. The EVG elliptical stylus has been used for less than two weeks as I was trying it out. It was cleaned after each record side and then also put back in its box. The cartridge also comes with the manual, stylus cleaning brush, and mounting hardware. All of the items will be well packed and shipping is via USPS Priority.
