Purchased new in 2008 with very little use. Shortly after buying it I acquired an ARC preamp with remote and got spoiled by it and put the Ref 4 in storage. I've listed it as an 8 due to age but it is in the same condition as purchased so it's probably closer to a 9. The current version of the Ref 4 sells for $890. The unit has one cosmetic condition which apparently was common: the wooden control knobs weren't always drilled perfectly square resulting in a slight out-of-parallel condition in relation to the face of the preamp (see RH knob in photo 3).
