Up for sale is a much loved classic amp that unfortunately doesn't fit in with my current system (and it really needs to be used and not sit in a closet). It comes with a wooden case which adds that additional sense of panache.I purchased it 3-4 years ago at which point a tech went over it to replace any capacitors or other elements that were out of spec. This included modifying the power cord to allow for use with IEC cord. More recently the power switch on the volume dial malfunctioned, so I had that replaced and the unit tested again to replace anything that was out of spec. Some might want to put it through a full restoration, but I found it perfect for my plug and play needs (rating a 6 given it's vintage nature). It will include 5 Fisher/RCA 12AX7s as well as a relatively 'new' quad of vintage Sylvania/GE 7868 tubes. I'd also be willing to consider trades towards a good solid state integrated (e.g., Hegel, Jolida), as I need something I can that can go in a mostly enclosed space.
