Upgrades include: a PERFECTLY MATCHED triplet of Mullard CV4003/12au7 tubes that I bought as a NOS, platinum grade, cryo treated set from Upscale Audio; 2 HiFi Tuning Supreme fuses. I’d conservatively estimate the usage on the Mullard's at no more than 250 hours.
I also have the original Ayon Audio Black Treasure SX KT-88's, with no more than 150 hours use.You can find several rave reviews of the Orion II on-line, including at Positive Feedback and Absolute Sound. Will ship in original packaging, including velvet bag, Styrofoam inserts and triple-boxed – Ayon packaging is as good as any I’ve seen, and significantly better than most. PayPal fee is included in asking price, and buyer splits actual shipping cost for carrier of their choice.
