I am getting ready for an expanding family and as such have decided to sell the last of my reference audio gear to prepare for twins. That being said, this reference Peachtree Grand X1 is in MINT condition and amazing in all respects. The aluminum chassis is flawless as is the 1/2" machined face-plate with engraved input names and oh can she sing. 440 watts into 8 ohm and 770 into 4ohm. There is literally nothing this amplifier cannot drive and do so without breaking a sweat. This is not just an simple integrated amplifier, it houses a reference level Class A headphone amplifier, numerous analogue inputs, an amazing reference level DAC with multiple digital inputs along with the sought after HT bypass capability, the updated X1 with the XMOS chip installed and the hybrid pre section with a Bascom Tube Buffer with dual 12au7 preamp tubes.This is truly an amazing integrated and I'm the original owner with all original OEM boxes and packaging. Adult owned in a nonsmoking environment and used to drive bookshelf speakers in a loft/library setting usually mated to KEF LS50, Sonus Faber Concertino and Concerto's and most recently my KEF Reference 1 monitors. The noise floor is nonexistent and the power is available in GOBS with the capability to handle the heaviest and lowest transient demands of any speaker and source with power to spare. Truly this is one of my favorite pieces of hifi audio gear. I'm simply letting it go as I've lost the extra room with the new twins arriving and no longer have a dedicated listening area and priorities are shifting. I will packaging this in the OEM boxes and ship throughout the continental US insured with UPS at an additional cost.
