Teradak 1543 non oversampling DAC with 8 paralleled DAC chips. Output is directly off of the DACs with simple I/V conversion. Will do 16/44 and 24/96 but not DSD. Inputs are USB, Coaxial, and Optical. This DAC has been modified. I replaced the following parts:- Bypass caps were replaced with Vishay polypropylene film caps
- All electrolytics were replaced with Panasonic FM caps
- I/V conversion resistors replaced with Vishay naked metal foil resistors
- Output caps were replaced with Dynamicaps These modifications took the sound quality to a whole new level. Very smooth sounding and musical DAC. This little DAC has embarrassed many a high end DAC. I had to spend $4000.00 to better this DAC and it wasn't by much. If using paypal add 3%.
