I have for sale an excellent Line Magnetic 502CA DAC. About a year ago I did a shootout with a bunch of DAC's in the 2-3000 range and this one was the clear winner - surpassing Bryston, W4S, Chord and a few others. I'm now simplifying my setup and feel its time to pass this gem along. There is extensive information and reviews on the web about this DAC, I have yet to find anything other than glowing praise from reviewers and "real world" audiophiles alike. This particular DAC comes with NOS gems in the rectifier and output positions (RCA 6x4 and Mullard 12AU7).Unit comes with everything as original (with exception of NOS tubes of course). Some additional answers to questions potential buyers may have: Rated 8 as I am the second owner, there are no visible indications of use - no dents, scratches, scuffs, smoke or pet hair. I've had the unit for approx. 1 year, purchased from original owner who didn't even take the plastic shrink wrap off it - he indicates he had it for 6 months and then had medical issues and needed cash . The unit is North American voltage etc, purchased from Tone Imports - I can provide serial number. No trades. No operational issues whatsoever. No other tubes than the ones listed are included. Difference between tube output and ss output is obvious - richer, wider, more body. I am not good with technical mumbo jumbo so please do the appropriate research regarding the units features and capabilities. Unit is not remote controlled.
