The digital and analog sections have their own separate power
supply. The data is processed via a Crystal CS 8414 circuit compatible with signals sampled up to 96 kHz. Sampling frequency
recognition is automatic. The input signals drive a Burr Brown
DF 1704 digital filter. The converters selected for this DAC are
two 24 bits/96 kHz PCM 1704 K series Burr Brown converters, K
selection. Each section has its dedicated power supply; 8 regulators are assigned to specific areas of the digital circuit. The
second power supply uses a dedicated torroïdal transformer
and 46 capacitors (4 700 microfarads) and SCR MKP polypropylene capacitors selected for their low impedance and minimal distortion.
