This is a Dyaco ST70 that had had the following performed:New VTA70 board installed, this board was purchased a while back when tubes4hifi was making the 3X12AT7 board. New output tubes (EH EL34) New old stock preamp tubes (12AT7) Bias rebuilt New multi-section CE capacitor can, made on original Mallory tooling Output transformers replaced with Magnequest Iron 4 and 8 ohm taps brought out to the back on banana plugs
16 ohm tap still in chassis for future use New reproduction bottom plate IEC power inlet on back panel Input jacks replaced Unit runs great, sounds great. Since it has a stock ST70 power tranny, it will run hot if you leave it on all day. A great sounding amp, unbeatable at this price point. Magnequest iron and VTA board open the amp up into a territory occupied by amps costing three times as much. Tubes have less than 120 hours on them.
