Pair of Dynaco MKVI that have been converted to EL-34. Their history. Were purchased new as kits and owner who is a high end speaker manufacturer paid a profeesional to put them together. Had them converted to EL-34 as 8417 were getting harder to find and of course availability of EL-34 far greater. Units sat not used at at his speaker facility for last 15 or so years. Just recently all production for speakers were moved to Nashville no we came across these again in the process, he forgot he had them. I (we are friends) brought them up slowly on variac and they are playing fine. Should probably be checked out further before any heavy use. Output tubes are EH made in Russia.
