It uses the Korg Nutube low power triode in front of a 50 watt per channel class D amplifier. Power supply boards and signal boards from Pete Millett. It uses the spec'd Antek 100va 22v power transformer to provide 28 vdc rails. The amp runs cool, providing 50 watts per channel into 4 or 8 ohm loads. It has a tube flavor to its sound, has single ended RCA gold plated inputs and 5 way speaker binding posts. The chassis is a basic chassis from China, nice thick aluminum front plate. Amp weighs 10 pounds, dimensions are 13 x 8.3 x 3.5 inches, with the 4 rubber feet attached. No power cord supplied with amplifier. If you are comfortable working inside an amp with power on, you can adjust the bias from the spec to see if you like the sound better with different harmonic content. Solid performer, nice bass and it does have a touch of SET sound to it. The Nutube is known to be a little harmonic, you do hear it ring a bit when the amp is turned on or off, but I have not noticed it during music playback. I have added extra damping to the tubes on the boards to keep this ringing minimized. Insured UPS ground shipping to the Continental USA included in my asking price.
