This device includes a large tank with ultra-sonic devices to remove dust and other contaminates. Front to back is a spit that will hold 8 record at a time. The spit is driven slowing so that all of the record surface is exposed to ultra sonics as the record is slowly rotated in distilled water with a little isopropyl alcohol and drops of Photoflo surfactant to break water's surface tension. The key element is the agitation of the water by the ultra sound.The distilled water later can be filtered with a pump with a 7 microns filter later. Mostly I do multiple loads of eight records and then filter the water before draining it into large bottles. After the records on the spit the cycle in the tank, they are then raised to dry. They are taken off the spit and placed individually in the drying rack. They take about a half hour to dry, but there is now a drying cabinet that accelerates drying, but it is not included with this unit. I have found that in my room air conditioning and the furnace in the winter dries the record in about a half hour. For storage, one can remove the filter and place the stainless steel lid on it. If you are not using the cleaner, you may want to drain the water into the gallon bottles of distilled water you need to buy at grocery stores.
